Boiler Room Ambient Temperature Limits

Miura boiler and ancillary control panels are designed for ambient room temperatures up to 122°F (50°C). On BL equipped boilers, Utility Check 3 is released if CPU board temperature reaches or exceeds 158°F (70°C) for five minutes.

• CPU board temperature may be significantly warmer than room temperature.
• Repeated cautions indicate a need to improve boiler-room ventilation, panel cooling, or heat-source separation.
• Clean and grease the control-panel cooling fan as required to maintain performance.

Other panels, motors, and equipment installed in the boiler room may have lower operating temperature limits. Ensure proper ventilation and cooling for the boiler room in accordance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
