EX100
EX100 uses a natural-gas pilot for the gas main burner and direct spark ignition for oil. A propane pilot is not used for EX100 oil ignition.
EX150/200/250/300 and corresponding high-pressure/low-NOx variants
Direct oil ignition is not permitted. The gas pilot ignites both the gas and oil main burners.
| BACKUP FUEL WARNING: If natural gas will be unavailable while oil is operating, specify the propane pilot option. It provides separate natural-gas and propane pilot trains so the oil burner can ignite without the natural-gas supply. |
- Oil system is designed for #2 fuel oil.
- Oil atomization uses oil pressure and combustion air from the blower.
- Oil filter and pump-side pressure gauge are standard.
- The system is off-low-high step fire rather than fully modulating.
