Control Box
MW-U softeners are controlled by a CONTROL BOX.
- Controls the valves and flow of water
- Hardness removal tracking
- System monitoring via sensors and meters
- Data history, including cautions and alarms
- MOM & Miura Connect network connectivity for remote data collecting, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Brine Tank
MW-U softeners feature a BRINE TANK equipped with a float valve, an essential component designed for brine preparation and salt storage.

MW-U brine tanks are equipped with a BRINE CONCENTRATION SWITCH, which monitors salinity levels to ensure proper regeneration. It also includes alarms to assist with troubleshooting when needed.

MW-U water softeners are equipped with a BRINE FLOWMETER, which tracks brine flow rate during regeneration to ensure the correct amount is used. It also measures water returning to the brine tank during refill

Flow Meters
An optional FLOW SWITCH can be installed as well. It confirms flow of water to double-check the service flowmeter’s operation.

MW-U water softeners are equipped with a RAW WATER PRESSURE SWITCH, which verifies sufficient pressure levels to ensure proper regeneration

Colormetry
The SOFT WATER COLORMETRY (CMU-HE), pictured left, is a stand-alone device that automatically tests soft water for hardness.
- Communicates with MW-U to regenerate if hardness leakage is detected
- Can cause the MW-U softener to swap tanks to mitigate hardness leakage into the boiler system
The RAW WATER COLORMETRY (CMU-GE), pictured right, is a stand-alone device that automatically tests raw water for hardness.
- Communicates with MW-U to adjust regeneration settings according to real-time data
- Can reduce the number of regenerations and can prevent hardness leakage based on the hardness results it sends to the MW-U
